Everybody loves the freedom to do their own thing in life. Why should chlorine be any different!

Think of free chlorine as chlorine that is ‘free’ to do its job and sanitise the water in your pool. It’s good news for you, as the chlorine is free to get rid of harmful microorganisms in the water. Free chlorine is not to be confused with combined chlorine, which has already been used up in the sanitising process, but is still present in the water.

Free chlorine is what you test for when you measure the pool’s chlorine. So, keep an eye on its level. Make sure that the readings are between 2-4 PPM.
