You can’t clean the surface of anything with a cloth if you don’t keep it flat against the surface. It’s the same with pools. The pool cleaner must lie flat against the surface of the pool to operate (and clean) effectively.
So why isn’t it?
Easy answer.
The hose connecting to your cleaner can have buoyancy, which may cause it to lift at the front.
More importantly, what do you do if it isn’t lying as flat as a pancake?
-
- Adjust the clip-on weight and/or float until the balance of the units is correct.
- Ensure that the hose does not have any air trapped in it.
- If the disc is curled, remove it, and lay it flat in the hot sun or pour hot water over it.
